Six Sigma
With Johnson & Johnson Personal Products Companies, several projects were undertaken to reduce the operating costs of the organization. This included development and deployment of a computer-based statistical process control syste and operator training in the principles of statistical process control. Formal design of experiments were also completed to identify the best operational setpoints for textile winding equipment.

Lean Manufacturing
In collaboration with the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Companies, waste was eliminated from the quality department by eliminating non-value added paperwork and implementing electronic system for documenting and reviewing inspection data in full compliance with 21CFR210 and 21CFR211 requirements.

Quality systems
With the Theragenics Corporation, a new design and development planning procedure was designed and provided to new product development teams that satisfied both ISO 9001:1994 and 21CFR820.30 requirements for Class II and Class III medical devices.

  • Developed a software quality assurance program for a 1,000,000-line enterprise resource planning system from 300 errors to zero

Validation
