Jeff Stephens is the President of Ixian Consulting, Inc., a management consulting organization specializing in improving the quality of a firm’s products or services.

Jeff worked as a scientist and engineer for eight years for companies such as Johnson & Johnson and the Theragenics Corporation.  With the completion of his Masters degree in Physical chemistry, he moved into the quality area focusing on Six Sigma, process validation and new product development. Furthermore, he has over a dozen publications in the areas of quality engineering and regulatory compliance. For over six years, he has supported world respected pharmaceutical clients such as Johnson & Johnson and Schering-Plough.

Jeff is certified by the American Society of Quality as a quality engineer, quality auditor, reliability engineer, software quality engineer, and Six Sigma Black Belt.  He is a member of the American Society for Quality where for the last six years he has actively developed the latest Six Sigma Black Belt Examinations for hundreds of test takers.

In 2008, Jeff took over as the Regional Counselor for the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic division of ASQ for Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama.

Increased capacity, waste reduction, reduced downtime, equipment validation, computer system validation, process validation, quality system development, and customer satisfaction measurement and improvement are some of his previous projects.
